Up for a little bit of a challenge? Our “Boots Camp” is an intense immersion into what it takes to be at your best for your horse. In five full days at our place we will ride (a lot!), we will take some deep dives into your horse’s health and how to monitor it, anatomy and hoof health, herd and individual horse behavior, stabling and equine welfare, feeds and feeding and much more. What really makes this clinic different though, is that you won’t be just talking about these things—you’ll be looking through a microscope to get a fecal egg count on your own horse and learning how to use a stethoscope. You’ll practice new ways to use a round pen, how your horse can help train another horse and new approaches to obstacles. You’ll be taking a hay sample, deciphering a hay test, reading a feed tag—you’ll even set up a more interesting stall for your horse friend!
All of this plus meals, lodging and an option for light equestrian workouts in our gym. Because this is intensive we limit it to four people per session. And since we reallylove horses here, each rider can bring two if they want. So grab a friend or three. Pull yourselves up by your bootstraps and come on out to our place for a challenge!
A (non-refundable) deposit of $500 will hold your spot and an invoice for the balance of $1390 will be sent 4 weeks prior to the clinic and will also be non-refundable at that time. You are welcome to find someone to take your place if issues arise making it impossible to attend!
