Good ranch horses are about the most versatile horses on earth and you can’t make one overnight—but you can get a pretty nice start by coming to the 2024 Ranch Horse Course. By popular demand we’ve added a day onto this course! Arrival is Sunday evening and departure is Thursday afternoon.
Once again we are excited to hold it at the beautiful V6 Ranch, Parkfield, CA! Learn the true art of handling cattle from horseback with the entire ranch as your classroom. You’ll get a feel for it in the arena and then it’s out on the range for the real thing with a teacher who’s the real deal. There’ll be everything you and your horse need to get started or get better at being a ranch horse. The skills and confidence you take home can improve your time on the trail, in the arena or down the center line.
And if you don’t have a horse of your own, a limited number of V6 ranch horses are available to ride in this clinic!!! ($350 to rent one for the entire clinic)
The $1725 clinic fee includes your meals (breakfast, lunch, supper Monday - Wednesday and breakfast on Thursday), a place for your horse and the use of cattle and ranch. A non-refundable deposit of $300 holds your spot and the balance of $1425 is due 1 month before the start of the clinic, at which time will be non-refundable. (Unless you get someone to take your spot). Camping (LQ, RV, or tent) with showers and restrooms available is $20/night. Horse pens are free.
