Immerse yourself in Chris-inspired horsemanship. A 3 day weekend of riding, learning and camaraderie in a lovely setting. Enjoy “clinickin”, Q&A, demos and more. Arrival Thursday afternoon /evening and departure Sunday evening or Monday morning by 12pm. Registration includes meals Thursday evening, breakfast, lunch and supper on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and breakfast on Monday. The clinic starts on Friday at 9am and ends on Sunday by 4 pm. Camp on site in your trailer or tent with bathroom and shower available. Or bring your pad and sleeping bag and sleep in the “gym”, We do have a few mattresses available, call or text Claire to reserve one! (307-689-8375). A (non-refundable) deposit of $300 holds your spot . I will send an invoice out 4 weeks prior to the clinic for the balance due of $625. (At that point the balance is also non refundable but you are welcome to get someone to take your place) Auditors and guests can purchase the full meal package (11 meals) and audit for $175.

  • Dogs permitted but please keep them leashed and none are permitted by the arena or wherever horses are worked. We do have a nice place to sit up above the arena if you want to keep your dog with you to watch.

  • All hauled in horses must be up to date on your vaccinations.

    ITINERARY:

  • Thursday afternoon/evening: Arrival time 2 pm-6 pm

    6:30 pm Meet and Greet Supper

  • Friday: Arrival time for those that didn’t come in the night before- 7:30 am-8:30 am

    7:45 am Breakfast

    9am-12pm Horsemanship

    12 pm-1 pm Lunch

    1 pm-4 pm Part 1: How to work on a horse’s problem.

  • Part 2: Working with your own horse on a problem.

    6 pm Supper

    7-8 pm Herd dynamics, Q & A

  • Saturday

    7:45 am Breakfast

    9 am- 12 pm Horsemanship & Obstacles

    12 pm- 1 pm Lunch

    1 pm-4 pm Gather horses to arena. How to find the “does” by identifying the 3 “doesn’ts”, health and conditioning exercises.

    6 pm Supper

    7-8 pm Ethics of Horse Keeping

  • Sunday

    7:45 am Breakfast

    9 am - 12 pm Trail and bravery building for horses

    12 pm - 1 pm Lunch

    1 pm- Focus on Cantering

  • 3 pm- Mission (almost) Impossible

    7pm Supper, Debrief and wrap up, Q&A
